MapleStory World Artale: Second Job Advancement Guide for Fighters
Dec-09-2024 PST Maplestory ArtaleToday, we’re diving into second job advancement for Fighters in MapleStory World Artale. Fighters are often considered the least popular class among Warriors, with Spearmen and Pages taking the spotlight. As a Fighter myself, currently level 51, I wanted to share my experiences and recommendations on skill prioritization, gear progression, and training spots to help you level efficiently.
In the background of this guide, I’ve included clips of suggested training locations for Fighters. Let’s get started!
Weapon Choices for Fighters
Fighters can wield either swords or axes, and you can choose between one-handed or two-handed weapons based on personal preference. Both weapon types are viable, and the skills we’ll discuss apply to either choice. For simplicity, I’ll refer to Sword Mastery and Axe Mastery as Weapon Mastery, and Sword Booster and Axe Booster as Weapon Booster.
Skill Build Guide
Here’s the optimal skill path for Fighters from levels 30 to 70.
Levels 30–36: Prioritize Weapon Mastery
Add +3 SP into Weapon Mastery each level until you reach level 36.
By level 36, Weapon Mastery should be at 19.
At level 37, add +1 SP to max it out at 20 and start investing in Weapon Booster (+2 SP).
Levels 38–44: Start Weapon Booster and Rage
Add +3 SP into Weapon Booster at level 38, bringing it to 5.
From levels 39–44, start leveling Rage by adding +3 SP each level until it reaches 18.
Levels 45–54: Max Rage and Invest in Power Guard
At level 45, max out Rage by adding +2 SP and invest the remaining point into Power Guard.
Power Guard is an excellent skill that reduces touch damage and reflects a portion of it to the attacker, saving you tons of potions.
From levels 46–54, add +3 SP into Power Guard each level until it reaches 28.
Levels 55–70: Final Attack and Weapon Booster
At level 55, max Power Guard with +2 SP and begin investing in Final Attack.
Final Attack provides a chance to deal bonus damage during Slash Blast and Power Strike.
From levels 56–64, add +3 SP into Final Attack per level until it reaches 28.
At level 65, max Final Attack with +2 SP and allocate +1 SP into Weapon Booster.
From levels 66–70, max out Weapon Booster, leaving 1 spare SP to invest in Iron Body.
Accuracy and Equipment Tips
Accuracy Recommendations
Fighters typically don’t face accuracy issues in the early game due to low avoidability monsters. However, around the second job, accuracy becomes a priority. Here are some ways to ensure you hit your targets consistently:
Weapon Mastery grants approximately 20 accuracy at higher levels, so max it early.
Aim for 90–100 accuracy by level 50. This is achievable with proper gear and buffs.
Use Sniper Pills, which provide an additional 10 accuracy boost when needed.
Recommended Gear Progression
Level 35: Lionheart Sword
A unique two-handed sword with fast attack speed.
Look for one with 10 DEX, 60 weapon attacks, and 15 accuracy for optimal results.
Work Gloves
Invest in +3 DEX, +6 accuracy gloves early on (approximately 400k Maplestory Artale mesos). Upgrade to weapon attack gloves later in the game.
Red Snowshoes
A solid option is +6 accuracy Red Snowshoes, which are cost-effective and reliable until you can scroll better shoes.
Bone Helm and Icarus Cape Quests
Complete these quests at level 42 for:
Bone Helm: Scroll with 100% Helmet for DEX scrolls.
Icarus Cape: Scroll with 100% Cape for DEX scrolls.
Level 35 Overall Armor
Purchase male or female Warrior overalls and scroll them with 10x 100% Overall DEX scrolls.
Training Spots for Fighters
Level 30–40
Wild Boars (Perion): Great spawn rates and easy to hit.
Ant Tunnel (Victoria Island): Ideal for farming mesos and EXP.
Level 41–50
Copper Drakes (Sleepywood): Excellent for EXP, with manageable accuracy requirements.
Evil Eyes (Sleepywood): A balanced spot for leveling and farming drops.
Level 51–70
Zombie Lupins (Ellinia): Good spawn density and decent EXP.
Forest of Golems (Sleepywood): Higher difficulty, but amazing for meso farming.
Advanced Tips
1.Keep Base DEX at 30
Focus your AP into STR to maximize damage output.
2.Gradually Upgrade Gear
Prioritize accuracy and defense early game, then transition to weapon attack items.
3.Use Rage Carefully
Rage provides a +10 weapon attack boost but will override buffs like snowflakes (+20 attack). Use Rage when solo grinding to avoid inconveniencing party members.
Final Thoughts
Fighters may not be the most popular Warrior class, but their balanced playstyle and powerful skills make them a joy to play. By following this guide, you’ll maximize your Fighter’s potential and breeze through the second job phase.
