Sep-05-2024 PST Madden 25

We’re reviewing the best player at every position in Madden 25 Ultimate Team. Do not worry—as soon as Madden 25 comes out and we start getting more Madden 25 news. But for right now, there isn’t much Madden content for me to talk about, and I want to keep giving you guys daily content in some form of a football Ultimate Team game. Now that that’s out of the way, let’s slide over to the catalog where we can talk about the best players in Madden Ultimate Team. Get these players with Madden 25 coins!

The Best Player at Every Position in MUT 25

Quarterback: Tom Brady

For the quarterback position, it’s a no-brainer. It is Tom freaking Brady. This card, when he came out, was one of the best we have ever seen. Caleb Jones, the middle linebacker from the Golden Ticket promo, might have taken that realm from Brady, but Brady is the best quarterback we have seen in a freaking minute. The fact that he’s been in the game for about a month and a half to two months and is still a top quarterback is nuts. He boasts 91 speed, 99 throw power, 90 run, and 90 pass accuracy at 6’4″ and 225 lbs. Tom Brady is a freak of nature, and he’s got every single ability you could want on a quarterback. I don’t think anyone is going to argue that Brady is the best quarterback in this game.

Halfback: Jonathan Brooks

This is where including the rookie premieres in the list changes things up a bit. I have Jonathan Brooks here. Yes, this card is going to cost you 4 million coins to complete the set, and if you already completed both rookie premieres and didn’t pick Brooks, well, you can’t get him. But this card right here is something special. With 99 speed, 98 change of direction, 99 truck, 99 brake tackle at 6’2″ and 226 lbs, I don’t even care that he has 70 catches because you’re going to hand this guy the ball and he’s going to make magic happen. Ability-wise, Jonathan Brooks has Angry Runs for one AP, Freight Train baked in, and he gets as many discounted abilities as you could want on this card. Jonathan Brooks is the best halfback in the game, fellas—no arguments here.

Wide Receiver: Chris Olave

Now, the best wide receiver in Madden Ultimate Team, in my opinion, is Chris Olave. This might be a little bit of a controversial take, but from everything that I’ve seen and from my personal experience playing with this Chris Olave card, he’s my pick for the best wideout in the game. He has 98 speed, 98 short, 99 medium, and 99 deep routes running at 6’1″ and 185 lbs. Where this card shines is in his abilities—Double Me and YAC ‘Em Up baked in are disgusting. As a Red Zone Royale card, he also gets one AP Angry Runs and every other wide receiver ability you could want. This YAC ‘Em Up and Double Me stack is kind of broken, making this card so much fun to use. Chris Olave is an absolute unit.

Tight End: Golden Ticket Travis Kelce

The tight end position this year has been a bit disappointing, but the Golden Ticket Travis Kelce changes that. Until this card dropped, there wasn’t a clear-cut number one tight end. The tight end meta this year leans towards Vanguard, and many players aren’t throwing to their tight ends as much. However, Travis Kelce is by far the best option we have gotten. He has 99 speed, 99 short, 97 medium, and 99 run block at 6’5″ and 260 lbs. He has charged up Angry Runs, Yak ‘Em Up, and Honorary Lineman abilities, making him one of the best tight ends in the game.

Left End: Javon Kearse

For the left end position, I have the Red Zone Royale Javon Kearse. With 97 speed, 99 block shed, 92 power move, and 99 finesse move at 6’4″ and 265 lbs, this card is amazing. He has charged up Colossus, Run Stuffer, Tackle Supreme, and Unstoppable Force abilities. Javon Kearse is an absolute beast, and while Mario Williams from the Ultimate Legend promo is also a great option, the ability stack on Kearse is just better.

Right End: Dallas Turner

For the right end position, Dallas Turner is the best. With 98 speed, 97 acceleration, 99 block shed, 99 power move, and 94 finesse move at 6’3″ and 247 lbs, he is a freak of nature. He has all the charged up X factors, including Unstoppable Force as a passive X factor, making him a dominant force on the field.

Defensive Tackle: Braden Fiske

At defensive tackle, Braden Fiske is my pick. With 95 speed, 99 power move, 90 finesse move, and 99 block shed at 6’4″ and 297 lbs, he’s a stud. Ability-wise, he has Run Stuffer for zero AP and every other ability you could want. While Mario Williams is a great option, Braden Fiske’s pure stats make him the best defensive tackle in the game.

Left Outside Linebacker: Joey Bosa

For left outside linebacker, Joey Bosa from the Red Zone Royale promo is the best. With 95 speed, 99 block shed, 99 power move, and 99 finesse move at 6’5″ and 280 lbs, he’s one of the best rushers in the game. He has charged up Colossus, Unstoppable Force, and Avalanche abilities, making him an absolute monster.

Middle Linebacker: Caleb Jones

Caleb Jones is the best middle linebacker in the game. With 99s in every stat and standing at 6’9″, he’s an absolute stud. He has Bottleneck, Tackle Supreme, Universal Coverage, Avalanche, Reinforcement, and Lurk Artist abilities, making him a dominant force on the field.

Right Outside Linebacker: Dave Robinson

Dave Robinson from the Red Zone Royale promo is the best for a right outside linebacker. He’s a great user linebacker with 99 speed, 99 block shed, 96 power move, and 96 finesse move at 6’3″ and 245 lbs. He has Lurk Artist and Reinforcement abilities, making him a top choice for this position.

Cornerback: Marcus Peters

At cornerback, Marcus Peters from the Red Zone Royale promo is the best. With 98 speed, 99 man coverage, 99 zone coverage, and 99 press, he’s a dominant defensive back. He has Acrobat, Universal Coverage, and Bottleneck abilities, making him the top choice for this position.

Free Safety: Ryan Clark

For free safety, Ryan Clark from The Fan Appreciation Promo is my pick. While not a standout at the top of the list, he’s very good and completely free. He has slots for every KO ability, making him a versatile and strong choice.

Strong Safety: Jack Tatum

Jack Tatum is the best strong safety in the game, hands down. With 98 speed, 96 man coverage, 99 zone coverage, and 99 hit power at 5’10” and 200 lbs, he’s an absolute beast. He has Universal Coverage, Bottleneck, Tackle Supreme, Enforcer Supreme, Avalanche, and Pick Artist abilities, making him the best choice for this position.

And there you have it, fellas! The end game edition of the best player at every single position. Let me know down below what you guys think about this list.
