Legendary Strategy Items (Gold)
Legendary items that are the main selling point in season 2 come with some added bonus. They are just the upgraded version of two epic strategy items, but they are worth the effort, thanks to their added bonuses. With epic versions of these items, you had to previously pair them with some other items to receive the extra bonus, but this is changed with the legendary upgrade. Now, they will provide the two times components bonus as well as unlocks zone boost and a strong arm.

Chemistry Boosts
In Madden Ultimate Team 23, you get a chemistry bonus along with all those Epic strategy items. Compared to legendary items, these epic items provide only a one-time component, and you have to create a pair with any other epic item that offers the same bonus chemistry symbol.
Strategy Item Sets
You have the option to upgrade your Common (Gray), Rare (Blue), and Uncommon (Green) strategy items to increase their buffs. This comes in handy as it saves you from purchasing all those items from the market, which requires a lot of in-game currency. To get the most out of upgrading these items, you should follow the golden rule and upgrade these items in the set. Continue this approach until you upgrade the complete set to the epic tier. This way, you will be to enjoy the best quick sale value in case you plan to sell them in the future. Selling any free strategy items from your bag is very beneficial.
