Attributes are fundamental to any New World build, and as a tank, strength, dexterity, and constitution are key. For my setup:

This balance prioritizes constitution to increase tankiness and stamina, while still maintaining enough strength to deal respectable damage. Although this allocation isn’t perfect due to some gear inconsistencies, it’s a practical solution until I acquire toptier gear. A 300 constitution ensures you can absorb significant damage, especially in the Gorgon Raid's highdamage environment.

 Essential Gear for the Gorgon Raid

 Armor and Wards

Your tanking gear should focus on defensive perks such asEnchanted Ward andElemental Aversion. Ideally, each piece of gear should have:

Enchanted Ward: Reduces elemental damage taken.

Refreshing: Reduces cooldowns on abilities, allowing you to sustain taunts and defensive buffs more frequently.

Here’s a quick look at my setup:

1.Helmet: Enchanted Ward and Refreshing.

2.Chestplate: Enchanted Ward, Elemental Aversion, and Refreshing.

3.Hands: Enchanted Ward, Refreshing, and Exhausting.

4.Legs: Enchanted Ward, Refreshing, and Elemental Aversion.

Each boss in the Gorgon Raid requires slightly different strategies, so let’s break it down by encounter.

 First Boss

When running public lobbies, keeping control over aggro and positioning is harder since players may not be used to grouping mechanics. Here are a few tips to maximize success:

1.Positioning: Communicate positioning needs to your team. Encourage DPS to stay behind the boss whenever possible to avoid unnecessary movement.

2.Taunt Rotations: Use Greatsword taunts whenever possible, as they’re easier to maintain in public runs. You’ll also have more flexibility to hold aggro without relying on players clustering for Sword and Shield taunts.

3.Clear Communication: Let players know when you’re low on cooldowns so they can back off and prepare healing if needed.
