Hello everyone, and welcome to a new series where we’ll dive into some of the fun builds I’ve tried in Elden Ring. While many guides focus on min-maxing, overpowered setups that trivialize the game with unbalanced abilities, this series aims to create builds that embody a specific role-playing fantasy. Each build will have a unique theme and a gimmick to master, allowing for dynamic play styles and a variety of combat options—not just spamming an action to win. Before we get into the details of the build, Whether you're seeking to upgrade your weapons, level up your stats, or buy essential Elden Ring Runes, MMOexp provides a reliable and efficient way to gather the resources you need.
Bloodborne-Inspired Beast Claw Build
This first build is a tribute to all Bloodborne fans, especially those who enjoyed the Beast transformation. We'll be utilizing the Beast Claw weapon from the DLC, paired with Malenia’s Great Rune, which restores health when you attack after being hit. This combination adds an engaging risk-reward dynamic to gameplay. With the DLC reducing the health flask nerf and introducing fresh content, the stage is set for a fantastic build.
Aesthetic and Gear
For this build, we embrace a traditional Gothic vampire aesthetic using the full Ansbag set, minus the helmet, opting for the Confessor headpiece instead. This outfit is lightweight, allowing for agile rolls, crucial for dodging and positioning during battles.
Talismans
The talismans we’ll use include:
· Lord of Blood's Exultation: Grants a 20% damage boost when bleeding an enemy.
· Rotten Winged Sword Insignia: Enhances consecutive attack damage.
· Godskin Swaddling Cloth: Restores health with successive attacks.
· Varadian Amber Medallion +3: Helps manage stamina consumption, though if you’re comfortable, you might swap it for the Millicent's Prosthesis for increased damage.
Weapons and Combat Strategy
For weapons, we equip the Beast Claw in our left hand and the Reduvia Dagger in our right. The Reduvia’s projectile attack deals solid bleed buildup, synergizing well with our talismans. The strategy is to buff yourself using the Reduvia and then switch to the Beast Claws for quick, agile assaults. The Beast Claws offer impressive speed and agility, making them ideal for a life-steal build. They also feature one of the best feint attacks in the game, allowing you to dodge while striking back.
Weapon Arts
We have two primary weapon arts to choose from:
1. Savage Claws: A series of slashing attacks perfect for quickly building bleed damage.
2. Raging Beast: This allows for a directional dodge followed by a long leap, helping maintain aggressive momentum against foes.
For added versatility, our stat distribution also enables effective casting of blood incantations using the Dragon Communion Seal, enriching the gameplay experience.
Conclusion
This Bloodhound’s Fang build offers a uniquely themed playstyle that focuses as much on aesthetics as it does effective combat mechanics. Whether you’re new to Elden Ring or a seasoned veteran, mastering this build will give you a whole new perspective on the game.
